IntrisingTM WDG0204S is a high-performance wireless router built-in L2+ 4x GE ports ethernet switch with 4 PoE 802.3af/at per port 30W. It provides L2+ wire speed and management functions for network deployment. On the other hand, it delivers ITU G.8032 ring recovery less than 50ms, further less than 20ms** in the enhanced mode. WDG0204S can help to optimize network traffic by comprehensive QoS and load balancing. Security functions provide L2/L3 ingress and egress ACL, port based DHCP server, MAC based DHCP server, and also include option 82/66* for DHCP relay. In order to optimize AV traffic, WDG0204S provides IGMP v1/v2/v3/ and router port support, which are important features required in AV network. The network discovery supports LLDP and CDP (Cisco Discovery Protocol)** that helps scan and show whole network topology. WDG0204S contains dual gigabit WAN port and one LTE module that 4G LTE CAT6 up to 300 Mbps downlink / 50 Mbps uplink and back forward compatible 3G UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+. It also supports four mechanisms for load balancing including fixed, failover, priority and round robin. It can help WAN resource to be fully-used. Additionally, VRRP can increase availability and reliability via automatic choice master default gateway in network topology. If the master is broken, slaves will be woken up and replace the master quickly. Furthermore, Wi-Fi can work as access point (AP) or station (client) mode with dual-band 2.4G and 5G, which makes it easy and flexible to build up a wireless environment.
WDG0204S has many useful logs for network troubleshooting in case of emergency. Once the device is out of the situation, it will automatically send SMS**, email, SNMP trap or syslog to the manager immediately.
Compatible with 3G/4G LTE Cat6 up to 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. WDG0204S supports lots of LTE band including APAC, EMEC and Worldwide. GNSS supports four types, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou, which can report location by latitude and longitude, and also include speed, height, satellite number and signal.
Compatible with 802.3af/at standard, WDG0204S is able to feed each PoE port up to 30 Watt, 250W totally. It also supports advanced PoE management functions, such as PD detection, scheduling and health tracking**. PoE detection can sense some troubleshooting on the connected PD status, such as enabled/disabled, voltage, current, watt and temperature. Moreover, scheduling can operate the arrangement on power pre-set upon routine time table; health tracking can detect whether PD is alive or not. If PD is dead, the system will restart it.
Port based DHCP server provides the dedicated IP address assignment support, while MAC based DHCP server can allocate dedicated IP address based on the client’s MAC address. Furthermore, DHCP option 82 can be a security feature added its payload by multiple switches forwarding the request to one single DHCP option server.
VRRP provides more availability and reliability in the network. VRRP can automatically choose one router as default gateway (master) and let others as standby (slave).
It provides dual DC power supplies DC 9V to 56V input to increase the network reliability.
WDG0204S supports 802.1p CoS (Class of service) QoS and DiServ. It greatly enhances the bandwidth management in a network.
Support for 801.11a/b/g/n/ac WI-FI, maximum three antennas with 3x3 MIMO, bandwidth up to 1300 Mbps.
IGMPv1/v2/v3 is an important feature in the AV network. It brings a lot of benefits such as managing multicast traffic, and saving switch bandwidth.
WDG0204S provides two gigabit ethernet WAN port that can work synchronically. It also supports four algorithms to manage WAN port traffic scheduling, including fixed, failover, priority and round robin that helps to use WAN bandwidth appropriately.
ITU G.8032 ring which can be self-healed in less than 50ms for single ring topology protection. It also supports various ring topologies that includes double ring, multi-chain, basic ring and multiple-VLAN ring**. In addition, the device contains MSTP with up to 8 MSTI, which is backward compatible STP and RSTP.
