S1100 is a high-performance L2+ 8 gigabit port + 2 gigabit combo port ethernet switch w/ 8 PoE 802.3af/at per port 30W which provides L2+ wire speed and management functions for network deployment.It delivers ITU G.8032 ring recovery less than 50ms, further less than 20ms** in the enhanced mode. It can optimize network traffic by comprehensive QoS. Security functions include L2/L3 ingress and egress ACL, port based DHCP server, MAC based DHCP server including option 82/66* for DHCP relay. In order to optimize AV traffic, this device provides IGMP v1/v2/v3/ and router port support, which are important features required in AV network. The network discovery supports LLDP and CDP (Cisco Discovery Protocol) that helps scan and show whole network topology.
S1100 is suitable for small office or home office (SOHO) that provides cost-effective solution, which has great space benefit. It is small but reliable operating temperature range is between -20°C and 60°C.
Compliant with 802.3af/at standard, the S1100 is able to feed each PoE port up to 30 Watt, 250W totally. Also supports advanced PoE management functions, such as PD detection, scheduling and health tracking. PoE detection can detect if the connected PD status such as enabled/disabled, voltage, current, watt and temperature; scheduling is to allow pre-set power feeding schedule upon routine time table; health tracking can detect PD is alive or not, if PD is dead, will restart it.
S1100 support 802.1p CoS(Class of service) QoS by VLAN and DiffServ that greatly enhance the bandwidth management in a network.
IGMPv1/v2/v3 is a importment feature in the AV network. It bring a lot of benefit such as management multicast traffic, save switch bandwidth.
ITU G.8032 ring which can be self-healed in less than 50ms for single ring topology protection. It also supports various ring topologies that include double ring, multi-chain, basic ring and multiple-VLAN ring. It supports MSTP with up to 8 MSTI that allows each spanning tree for each VLAN for redundant links and backward compatible STP and RSTP.
Port based DHCP server can assign dedicated IP address by by port, MAC based DHCP server can assign dedicated IP address by by client’s MAC Address. Option 82 can assign IP address by port for multiple switches with single DHCP option 82 server.
In case of event, S1100 have many useful log for network trouble shutting. Once out of the situation S1100 also support send SMS, e-mail, SNMP trap or syslog to the manager immediately.
S1100 supports dual DC power supplies DC 9V to 56V input to increase the network reliability.
